Hi John,
Thank you for your service! It's much appreciated, but I'm glad you were not wounded! I'm sure you have many stories, even if they don't involve conflict. It's awesome that you have several celebrations to enjoy and attend this weekend.

I'm in the US and I didn't know Forget Me Nots came any smaller! :)
Thanks for your comment!

I don't know where you live Sheri but I love the Forget-me-not theme, though ours in UK are about half the size you quote.
Actually today at the 11th hour of the 11th Day of the 11th Month we commemorated Armistice Day - November 1918, when the First World War officially ended.
On Sunday we hold services (and parades where possible) as Remembrance Sunday to remember all the lives that have been lost in Wars between Nations. I am a Veteran, born a week after VE Day at the end of WW2, and though I served over 29 years our efforts to maintain Peace in Europe paid off and i was not involved in any operational conflict in that time. My family are pleased about that - no War Stories!! Haha
Keep up the good work, and "We Will Remember Them".
